This survey is part of the project Regional Ownership of Our Tomorrow: Citizens and Civil Society Growing EU Values in the Western Balkans (ROOT WB), funded by the EU through the CERV programme.
The project brings together partner organizations from across the Western Balkans and Europe, with a shared goal of strengthening civil society, democratic participation, civic engagement and the promotion of EU values in the region.
Through this survey, we want to better understand the current realities faced by civil society organizations, including their capacities, challenges, funding opportunities, participation in decision-making processes, and the barriers that affect civic engagement.
The collected insights will help shape evidence-based recommendations, which will be consolidated into a comparative publication and used to inform future project activities aimed at creating a more supportive environment for civil society organizations across the Western Balkans.
