Conference – Symposium – Forum
1-5 December 2026 | Antalya, Türkiye
This Forum moves from discussion to practice. It offers a space for professionals to explore digital pedagogy, experiment with hands-on tools and address the ethical and practical dimensions of AI in non-formal education and youth employment.
How can we turn AI and digital tools into practical solutions for youth work and employability?
Background & Overview
Digitalisation has long been central to EU education and employment policies, but artificial intelligence (AI) is now transforming the field further. Youth work plays a crucial role in helping young people navigate AI critically, building essential digital competences, and ensuring those with fewer opportunities are not left behind.
The Youth@Work Digital Competences Forum 2026 moves from discussion to practice. It offers a space for professionals to explore digital pedagogy, experiment with hands-on tools, and address the ethical and practical dimensions of AI in non-formal education and youth employment.
Aim & Key Questions
- The forum aims to strengthen the capacity of professionals working with young people to effectively integrate digital tools and AI into their everyday practice. Key themes include:
- How AI is transforming employment and how youth workers can navigate this shift.
- Applying digital pedagogy to AI in theory and practice.
- Addressing the legal and ethical dimensions of AI in education and youth work.
Objectives
- To showcase good practices, educational projects, and practical AI tools supporting youth work and employability.
- To provide hands-on experimentation and peer-to-peer exchange for participants to share their own methods and tools.
- To foster cross-sectoral cooperation between youth work, employment, and education sectors.
Target Group & Profile
We welcome youth workers, leaders, trainers, educators, project managers (Erasmus+ / ESC), researchers, and policymakers working on digital transformation and youth employment. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and tools—no advanced AI expertise is required, only openness to learn and exchange.
The event will be held in English.
Methodology
The program includes panels and keynote speeches, parallel sessions combining theoretical inputs with hands-on workshops, and dedicated networking and experience-sharing spaces.
About the Organisers
