The internship is designed as a part-time, flexible engagement that can be combined with your studies. Interns are expected to commit up to 20 hours per week at BIRN Hub’s office in Sarajevo.

Position details
- Position: Operations and Finance Intern
- Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (on-site)
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Workload: Part-time (up to 20 hours per week)
- Start date: As soon as possible

Key responsibilities
The intern will support the Operations and Finance team with:
- Assisting in organising financial and administrative documentation
- Supporting bookkeeping preparation, financial trackers, and documentation filing
- Providing general administrative and operational support
- Assisting with preparation and submission of documentation to relevant institutions (e.g., banks, tax authorities)
- Supporting internal administrative processes and office operations
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Based in Sarajevo and available to work on-site
- Student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Basic understanding of financial and administrative processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Workspace
- Full working proficiency in English
- Reliability, professionalism and willingness to learn
